Resumen

Project developed between 2011 and 2012 in collaboration with the US Forest Service, Rocky Mountain Research Station (RMRS), and the University of Montana, focused on optimizing the spatial location of forest fuel treatments at the landscape level.

This project aimed to support strategic forest management by identifying priority areas for fuel treatment implementation. Through spatial planning and optimization approaches, the project contributed to improving decision-making for wildfire risk reduction and efficient allocation of management resources.
